We went with some friends and stayed at a place called the Fishing Lodge. It was a nice large lodge with a fire place. It was a bit rustic as it had no electricity but very comfortable otherwise. At night it was COLD so we were very grateful for our fireplace and the many thick blackets that were on our beds! 
We had fun just relaxing and playing games with our friends in the evenings. During the the days we went exploring in the area we were staying. We found several beautiful waterfalls and also saw elephants, bush buck, duikers, and several varieties of antelope. Kelly and Jay also found leapord paw prints not too far away from our cabin. They were by the camping area....I was very glad we weren't out there camping!
These elephants were just a two minute walk from our cabin. The caretaker told us that they often wander into the lawn in front of the cabins but they never got that close while we were there.
There was this light green moss (above) growing on most of the trees. The girls thought it was fun to play with and made some doll beds and pillows out of the moss! My most favorite was the Karura waterfalls. The Karura waterfalls is a three tiered waterfall. According to the sign above the falls, the three drops are 383', 84', and 427'. It was impressive and as you can see in the pictures we were teeny tiny next to the huge falls. Kelly was standing on a look out that was on one side of the falls and were on the opposite side looking across at him. I was in awe at the beauty and amazing power of God's creation. The pictures really don't do it justice, you need to see it in real life!
