Fun with Grandma and Grandpa!

We are so thankful that Grandma and Grandpa Clark were able to come out to visit in June! It was great to spend time with them and enjoy some time out of Nairobi as well! We managed to make it out to El Dama Ravine for a weekend and also to the coast.

Mid June we went to Turtle Bay which is at the coast. It was a fun time to relax for a few days. It is an 8 hour drive so on the way there we left our house at 3am! and arrived before noon. It was nice to have a relaxing afternoon after a stressful 8 hour drive on Kenyan roads!

Tara and a friend got to ride on a camel one afternoon. The beach was really windy as you can tell in the camel pictures. Because of the wind, we didn't really spend much time out on the beach. There was also a lot of seaweed on the beach which didn't a make it too appealing.

The month went much too fast and before we knew it, it was time for Grandma and Grandpa to leave! Thanks again for coming!
