On December 23 Marissa fell backward off our neighbors trampoline while she was trying to climb up onto it. She hit the back of her head on some sharp stones. We ended up taking her to the nearby Nairobi Women's Hospital. It was about 7:30pm and we expected to be there several hours but were pleasantly surprised to get quick service - she was all stitched up and we were out of there in about an hour. She only ended up needing 2 stitches. Mommy was more light headed and woozy than Rissa during the procedure. :) These pictures were taken several days later.
